NLL-projektet NEET, kompetenceudvikling og inklusion i Åland, Grønland og Færøerne har til formål at styrke indsatsen for unge mellem 16-29 år, som befinder sig uden for uddannelse, beskæftigelse og træning.
Projektet sigter mod at udvikle anbefalinger, der kan styrke både politiske strategier og praksisnære tiltag. Dette sker gennem kortlægning af status på udvalgte fokusområder i hvert land, hvor der kan skabes nordisk merværdi gennem gensidig læring og fælles udvikling.
Vi inddrager forskere til at belyse og kvalificere NEET-gruppen og vejledningen, hvilket skal bidrage til en dybere forståelse af NEET-gruppens behov og muligheder samt anbefale nationale og lokale strategier og identificere muligheder for nordiske synergier.
I den forbindelse har AQQUT, Grønlands Vejledningsenhed et samarbejde med professor Tristram Hooley som giver et indblik i:
- International viden om NEETs-gruppen og karrierelæring sammenholdt med Grønlands NEET-gruppe.
- Et forskningsbaseret grundlag for nye indsatser i Grønland.

Webinar on NEET: Strengthening efforts for young people outside education and employment
Professor Tristram Hooley, in collaboration with Greenland’s Guidance Unit (AQQUT) and Nordic Network for Lifelong Learning (NLL), is hosting a webinar about the NEET project, which focuses on skills development and inclusion in Åland, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands. The project’s aim is to strengthen efforts for young people aged 16–29 who are not in employment, education, or training.
The project seeks to develop recommendations that can enhance both political strategies and practical initiatives. This is achieved by mapping the status of selected focus areas in each country, where Nordic added value can be created through mutual learning and joint development.
Researchers are involved to provide insight into and qualify the NEET group and guidance, which will contribute to a deeper understanding of the NEET group’s needs and opportunities, as well as recommend national and local strategies and identify possibilities for Nordic synergies.
In this context, AQQUT, Greenland’s Guidance Unit, collaborates with Professor Tristram Hooley, who provides insight into:
- International knowledge about the NEET group and career learning, compared to Greenland’s NEET group.
- A research-based foundation for new initiatives in Greenland.
